The Sevan semi-submersible features a double-symmetric main hull comprising a ring pontoon and four vertical, octagonal columns. The pontoons are constructed with longitudinal stiffeners and transverse frames to ensure optimal constructability and structural efficiency. To reduce weight and simplify construction, the pontoons are designed without access trunks.
