Discovered in 1974, with oil and gas production between 2003 and 2021, the Penguins field has restarted production utilizing the cylindrical Sevan designed Penguins FPSO.  The FPSO is a Sevan 400 design with a process capacity of 45 kbbld and a storage capacity of 400 kbbls. Shell UK is field operator and license partner with NEO Energy (50%).

The production start marks yet another milestone of Sevan’s FPSO development over more than 20 years, and is the 6th operating Sevan designed FPSO and the 4th operating in the North Sea, UK shelter.
